CHARACTER FORMATTING FEATURES
Character formatting controls the appearance of the individual letters in your publication. Font, type size, color, and leading are all aspects of character formatting.
PARAGRAPH FORMATTING FEATURES
Paragraph formatting lets you control the appearance if individual paragraphs. For example, you can change the alignment of text from left to center or the spacing between lines form single to double.
There are 14 features on the paragraph tab. Sketch each icon, state its name and its purpose.
PAGE FORMATTING FEATURES
Page formatting. The term "format" can also be used to describe the page layout or style of text in a word processing document. When you format the layout of a page, you can modify the page size, page margins, etc.

STEP TO CREATE A BROCHURE
- Remove space after paragraph (Click line spacing button to see this)
- Set page to LANDSCAPE ORIENTATION
- Change margin to 0.5" all round
- Select Columns and choose THREE-COLUMNS
- Set gutter to 1" between each colum
- Keep cursor on the left Break columns six times. (Why is this necessary? Watch the video above and you will find out.)

Task: In pairs, create a Brochure on any of the following objectives numbered 1 - 9, except #2. Due June 7, 2018
Use the information to the right of the objective should be the information in the brochure. Keep information/definition short bit meaningful. Use appropriate images, where necessary. Include your name on the front of the brochure.
